Arctic Reef is a full service aquarium maintenance company that focuses entirely on its customers aquarium.
Arctic Reef offers unbiased advice on equipment choices and teach techniques for optimally maintaining your aquariums ecosystem. We have experimented with many products over the years and believe that quality products are worth the investment. We sell quaility product lines that support there product, have proven longevity, and are easy to maintain.
We specialize in water auto-top off (from evaporation) and automatic freshwater / saltwater water change systems.
We offer setup and maintenance in locations such as:

Consulting / Setup
We can visit your current aquarium setup and offer our experience in troubleshooting, equipment selection, and maintenance. In a usual consult visit, we will perform water chemistry tests as needed and visually inspect for problems. We question current maintenance practices and suggest changes to bring your aquarium back to a healthy state.
We offer free, no obligation quotes for setting up new aquariums or servicing existing ones.
Maintenance
We provide weekly service for reef aquariums. Some aquarium setups may require 10-14 days between visits.. A usual maintenance call lasts 1-1.5 hours. Typically our maintenance package includes:
- salinity measurement using calibrated refractometer
- alkalinity, calcium, nitrate, magnesium and phosphate testing
- 15-20% gallon water change as needed
- replacement of used food and alkalinity/calcium buffers
- inspection of livestock and equipment
- equipment cleaning and maintenance
